Estate agents have traditionally found clients through the listing portals, but over time the traffic has become more expensive while the results have got worse. The mechanism is worth looking at closely, because it explains the case for a mini program better than any pitch.
Here is what happens. A client asks whether you have anything suitable. You send them the listing you have already posted on the portal. They open it in WeChat, decide it is not quite right, and want to compare a few more — so they search from inside that same portal. They find another property, contact the agent who listed it, and that agent sends them their own mini program, where the client can see every real listing the agency holds. The client is now inside a competitor’s system. You did the work of generating the enquiry, and you handed the client over.
Which makes the structural point plain: the traffic on a listing portal belongs to all the agents on it — or more accurately, to the platform. What an agent actually needs is a place where the client stays. A mini program is that place. It belongs to the agency, it holds the agency’s whole inventory rather than the one listing you happened to send, and it keeps the client, and the second conversation, inside the agency’s own channel.
A property mini program can be built to order, with a working demonstration before you commit and pricing open to discussion. XZS Tech is a Shenzhen development company — if your inventory is large enough to justify its own system, we are glad to quote.
