Science and Technology Daily, Beijing, August 20 (reporter Liu Yin): the national technology market flash report for the first half of 2020, published on the ministry’s website on the 20th, shows 136,434 technology contracts registered nationwide in the first half, down 7.3 percent year on year, with turnover of 770.72 billion yuan, up 6.5 percent; national technology trading kept its steady upward momentum.
Among the four contract types, technical service contracts led with turnover of 368.41 billion yuan, up 0.7 percent; technology development contracts rose 22.9 percent; technology transfer contracts fell 22.6 percent year on year; technology consultancy contracts also grew on the year.
By technology field, turnover’s top three were electronic information, urban construction and social development, and advanced manufacturing. Turnover also grew year on year in aerospace, biomedicine and medical devices, and new materials and their applications.
By transacting entity, enterprises kept their dominant position, exporting 94,243 contracts and 89.5 percent of national turnover. Research institutes’ exported contract turnover rose 30.0 percent on 13,298 contracts. Universities’ exports fell markedly: 23,508 contracts, turnover down 61.7 percent.
By intellectual property type, 56,287 contracts involving IP were signed, turnover making up 46.9 percent of the national total.
By plan category, 19,521 technology contracts were signed under government science and technology plans at all levels, turnover up 15.4 percent year on year.
