The Usage Standards for Fonts, Sizes and Colours on PC Interfaces

Generally, the recommended visual width for PC (the size cannot be fixed) is 960 to 1280 px. Under this visual width:

1. Using font sizes

Headings uniformly use Microsoft YaHei (text format) at 16 to 32 px, without an absolute limit. Copy elements such as categories and side navigation plus column titles use 18 px, body descriptions 14 px, hint text 12 px, bolded when it must stand out. The minimum Chinese font size is 12 px; the minimum English font size is 10 px.

2. Using fonts

Navigation and body descriptions use regular fonts. Chinese mostly uses system fonts such as SongTi and YaHei for clearer information delivery; English mostly uses Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, Sans-serif and the like. Font sizes are mostly even numbers (odd numbers cannot align to pixels).

3. Using text colours

Important: #333333, for text that needs emphasis and prominence, and for buttons. General: #8c8c8c, for ordinary text information. Weakest: #c6c6c6, for side columns, content outlines and dividers.

The above is for reference only; actual visual results govern.
