Business Control & Monitoring Platform

The Business Control and Presentation Digital Monitoring Platform is built on video surveillance and GIS geographic information processing. Combined with a company’s actual business, it merges operations and video — while delivering baseline security, it shows equipment and operations directly on a map.

Project background

Traditional surveillance answers the question of seeing: the office, the workshop and the yard are all on camera, but the picture and the business are two separate things — which camera corresponds to which machine, and what state a production line is in, still has to be guessed by a person staring at the screen.

The platform overlays business data onto the map and the video, so where, which equipment and what state all hold at once on one screen.

Video access

The video side accepts cameras from Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview and other vendors, supports HLS, HTTP-FLV, RTMP and WebSocket-FLV transport, and outputs H.264 and H.265. Multi-brand, multi-protocol compatibility means a company’s existing camera assets do not have to be replaced wholesale.

Map and business together

An offline map can be deployed locally, and a company can fly its own high-resolution tiles over a work area, which suits industrial applications. Business control connects to machinery through sensors and interfaces, showing the state of each part of the operation in real time and keeping production reality in view.

Working across mobile

Surveillance video can be shared through WeChat and mobile clients, so a fault or an emergency travels with the picture: field staff and managers see the same footage instead of reconstructing the scene by description.

Outcome

  • Cameras of several brands and protocols connect, so existing equipment stays in use.
  • Business data and video align on the map, so equipment and operations state are visible on one screen.
  • Offline maps accept high-resolution aerial tiles, so even an industrial work area is accurate down to the point.
  • Video can be shared through WeChat and mobile, so anomalies are dealt with faster.
