Building a WeChat Ordering Mini Program

Many people now order food through WeChat mini programs, and merchants value the free, built-in promotion channel. For daily life the WeChat ordering mini program is widely used, and ordering through a mini program has become one of the new ways to eat out. The entry point is hidden inside WeChat, backed by its enormous traffic and its hundreds of millions of users. For merchants, a WeChat ordering mini program improves efficiency. So how is one actually built?

1. Apply for a WeChat official account first. With a business licence you can register a service account, and it should be verified.

2. Connect the account to a third-party ordering system. Mature systems such as Yunkuaimai, which has been online for more than five years, are stable software platforms.

3. Configure the store and products in the ordering system backend: minimum order value, delivery fee, opening hours, delivery radius, product categories, product names and prices.

4. Download the official account QR code, print it out or share it in Moments, and customers can scan it and order by themselves. These systems have progressively connected to mini programs, PC web pages and WeChat H5, helping restaurants reach more traffic entrances. Many merchants ask how to build an ordering platform; a third-party ordering system is enough, and it supports both mini program ordering and official account ordering. The core functions of an ordering system revolve around running the restaurant, and for any restaurant ordering and settlement are the two most important steps. With an ordering system in place, the restaurant can complete both quickly and efficiently.
