Source: Sina Tech.

MIIT’s general office has issued the Guide for Building the Internet of Things Basic Security Standards System (2021 edition). The guide proposes that by 2022 a basic IoT security standards system will be initially established, with more than 10 key industry standards developed, clarifying security requirements for key fundamental links such as IoT terminals, gateways and platforms, meeting the needs of basic IoT security protection and promoting improvement of basic IoT security capabilities. By 2025, a relatively complete IoT basic security standards system should take shape, with more than 30 industry standards developed, expanding standards coverage of subdivided industries and fields, raising the security level of cross-industry IoT applications and safeguarding consumers’ safe use.
