Sanyan Finance, 6 August — Bloomberg reports that TikTok will build its first European data centre in Ireland, where European user data will be stored, at an investment of €420 million. TikTok expects the Irish data centre to open and enter service in early 2022, and says it will keep expanding its data and privacy protection teams.
